5 Quick Ways to Cook Maggi for Your Child

Maggi probably is the favorite food of India. Everyone from kids to grown-ups love this quick delight.

If you thought there is just one way of preparing Maggi then you cannot be more wrong. Maggi can be cooked in many different styles and local flavors can be added as one wishes. But again not all ways are suitable for little kids.

For a really quick change, you can grate some cheese on hot Maggi. If you want to give something new to your kid then try these variants of Maggi. These will bring some change and your kid will love these for sure

1. Egg Maggi

There are two ways to make Maggi with eggs. One is a quick way. Boil water, add Maggi and masala. Then add the contents of one egg to the cooking Maggi. Whisk and mix. The Maggi will be more tasty and full of protein.

The other way to make egg Maggi is to mix it with Egg-Bhurji. Cook Maggi as usual. In another pan, add some chopped onions, 1-2 eggs and spices to whip up a quick Bhurji. Mix together the Maggi and Bhurji and serve this treat to your baby.

2. Maggi with Veggies

This is a really quick way to make the Maggi healthier. Chop some onions, tomatoes and cucumber. Add in some salt, lemon juice and ground black pepper. Add this mixture to the cooked Maggi. You can garnish it with fresh coriander leaves.

3. Soupy Maggi

Adding more than usual water makes your Maggi watery and not soupy. For making soupy Maggi you will need vegetable stock, onions and carrots. Chop the veggies and fry them in oil. Add vegetable stock and let the mixture come to a boil. Keep it simmering till only half of the broth is remaining. Then add in Maggi cake and masala. Cook for 2 minutes and it’s ready.

4. Tomato Maggi

Slit two tomatoes and drop them in boiling water, Let them stay in it for 2 minutes. Take them out, remove the skin and seeds. Chop the tomatoes and add ground pepper and salt. Mix this tomato concasse with the regular cooked Maggi. This will be loved by both kids and adults.

5. Corn Maggi

Cook the Maggi, with or without masala. Then add in some boiled corn. The next step is to add some grated cheese. If you have not added masala then add some salt and ground black/white pepper. You can also add some capsicum to this corn Maggi.
